Jul 03, 2005 ~ Post-Live8 Letter

This is a letter which I sent to a selection of members of parliament, in regards to foreign aid, poverty and a brief mention of our Kyoto plan.

Jun 22, 2005 ~ Ongoing Affairs

Well, I've been working on some major changes to Webtoo and SourceSystem, in preparation for a few more sites which will be powered by the new software. A new homepage for the Crown Point Hotel is under way, and a major update to the Indigo World magazine also. Read more for information on Shade, and Jargon, as well as some news on the site itself.

May 09, 2005 ~ Changes Ahoy

Well not only is the main site restructured, but the backend code of huri.net has been completely re-written. The Gallery, Cyclopede and Infinode modules are totally gone, and Linkage has been ported to the new Websight framework, so jargon, XIE, Spin-A-Story and this page now all use the same modules. (If you're into graphic technical details read more).

Apr 25, 2005 ~ Coming Soon

I have been quite quiet lately, leading many to wonder what's up. Well aside from doing a lot of freelance work, I'm also working on a few other things, three of which will make a lot of changes to this site. Read more if you're interested in finding out what's happening.

Mar 28, 2005 ~ About 'Rose'

Okay, so I'll admit, I've seen the new episode already (the leaked copy) but I'm not going to write a review until I've seen the broadcast version, in case there are any differences. Now, I do want to say I absolutely LOVE it. It's great. This is Doctor Who for the 21st century.

Mar 23, 2005 ~ Some people suck

I just finished reading this. It is without a doubt, the stupidest thing I've ever heard.

Mar 22, 2005 ~ XHTML 2 and Webtoo

So, I've been reading a lot about people's complaints about XHTML 2. I have one suggestion for most of them: If you don't like it, don't use it. It's not like browsers are magically going to stop supporting older versions of HTML and XHTML any time soon.

Jan 15, 2005 ~ A few new things

Well first off, Webtoo has been greatly expanded, and I'm slowly working on powering more sites with it. The Ablen Society is back, which is great. It's working on restructuring at the moment, so there's not too much news on that front.

Dec 04, 2004 ~ Site Problems & Rebirth

Well, I can't say it's been the best time for huri.net or any of it's hosted sites. My web host had a hardware failure, and everything was lost. To make matters worse, I did not have a recent backup of the site, except for a few things that were ported to Webtoo. The rest was, well, gone. So I've started from scratch. Hopefully I'll be able to restore a lot of what was on the site, but nothing is certain yet. We'll see how it goes.

Aug 04, 2004 ~ The Magic Factor

Okay, and now for some diversion from the usual topics of psychology. You must be asking yourself, what does magic have to do with psychology? Well lots. But the magic in this section has nothing to do with the metaphysical kind of magic. No, the magic I'm talking about is how you see the world. What? What do you mean magic? What does that have to do with seeing the world? Well that's the common response from most grown-ups because they have lost the magic and view their lives as just something that happens.

Jul 08, 2004 ~ Blackholes == Censorship

There are many groups out there that are really pushing their power to the limits in order to abuse the abusers so to speak. What I'm talking about is the Anti-Spam camp. Have I got your attention yet?
