Well, for the first time in over 5 years, huri.net has a new look and feel. This time it's not just the main articles that have been themed, but jargon, shade and scrawl have been updated to use the new theme as well.

I've been enjoying the previous look for the last few years, but was trying to figure out how to integrate the other sites into the main site a bit more. Webtoo Websight 5 has allowed me to be more creative with how my website works, so I figured this was as good of a time as any to update the look and feel.

Now, I know the initial reaction might be, "God damn, why did you uglify your site?" Well, personally, I don't think it's any uglier than it used to be, it's just different. The main template itself has no images. None. Even the "buttons" at the bottom of the page are actually done in CSS. It's faster, and easier to maintain. It's also WAY easier to integrate the other sites with (which was the point of the exercise.)

Anyway, if you have any feedback, let me know. I'm not going to be changing it back, but I may take advise for how to improve it.

Someday, I plan to make a gallery of all of the previous designs available. I guess you could use the Web Archive for now, but I find it to be pretty slow.

That's it for now. Stay tuned for some more content showing up soon.
